We’ll be paddling at the Tees Barrage next Sunday
It's an artificial white water course with a 'Lazy boy conveyor system'
It’ll be fairly relaxed day and you can pick and choose the sections you want to do, it being easier on the top half with more pushy WW lower down.
Anyone who’s paddled the Lower T, Dee, Lune, or Goyt at a reasonable level, is welcome. The Jubilee Section we will be on is Grade 2/3 and although it says below that you should have a competent roll, last time I was there plenty of people didn’t
Quote from Phil Howe "speaking as someone who has swum just about every feature on the course the swims not too bad if your roll fails you." If it is your first time here, you will likely swim at some point. Andy & Jack Q could also tell you about the swims here.
Let me know on here/text/FB if your planning on joining us. If you're not sure if this trip is for you, PM me, or see me Tuesday evening at the club to discuss.
