Equipment Hire & Club Policies

The committee has just approved some updates to club policies that affect members of the club. Most of these changes are tweaks to the code of conduct, child protection policy and equity/equality policies to bring them into line with British Canoeing recommendations.

One new policy document is the Equipment Hire policy. This formalises the existing semi-informal policies into a single document that members can easily refer to. Key points are that members must pay for hired equipment (we shouldn't have to remind people about this :roll:), damage to equipment should be reported and any off-site hire must be authorised by the equipment officer before taking the equipment.

All the club policies can be found on the main website and in a folder in the clubhouse foyer. Please take the time to read through these documents.
